Underwater Wing
The interaction of humpbacks with water is a thing of beauty. On close approach, the sight of water dripping and clinging to their hides is extraordinary, forming unusual patterns that can be seen in high shutter-speed images. With a wing-shaped tail, I wonder if the reason they breach the water periodically is simply for the sensation of "flying" in a different medium?
